Job Description

Weekends are busy at Cook St. and we require a dependable person with a strong and outgoing personality to work the front of house.

This is a permanent position on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm. These hours may switch to from Noon until 6 pm just for July and August.

Empire Donuts is comprised of a small dedicated team, making handmade donuts from scratch. The Front Counter requires a person who can work quickly while assisting customers and still have fun. You may be required to work on your own, so dependability, organization and efficiency is key. Generally our customers are very happy to be getting delicious donuts which makes for a very positive working environment. The Cook st location is our main production kitchen which would require some familiarity working in the kitchen area, doing dishes etc. Cash handling is required and POS system is easy to navigate. Benjo's Tacos also shares the kitchen space, so the shop can be a very bustling place on Saturdays. This makes the days go by fast. We offer free donut perks and a generous tip pool.
