Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top of the line customer service to our customers.
  • Meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Responsible for proper delivery procedures while manually loading and unloading products into the vans/trucks and hand-wheeling them into the customer location with the use of ramps and carts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
  • Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
  • Professional delivery of product with a clean driving abstract
  • Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting

● Report incident and accident while on shift to the operation team.
● Following the best practices for health and and safety at all times throughout the shift.
~ Must have previous experience in driving 5 ton Commercial truck.

  • Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
  • Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
  • Responsible for daily van inspection and filling in the inspection checklist
  • Communicating with team members and operations team for any deliveries and road concerns.
  • Providing prompt delivery across Calgary and surrounding area.
  • Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
  • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received
  • Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
  • Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management
  • Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
  • Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards
  • Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
  • Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped

Qualifications:
● Have a valid Alberta Class 5 or Class 5 GDL drivers license and *clean drivers abstract*
● No driver's license suspensions within the previous five years
● No DUI/DWI within five previous years
● Are physically capable of working 10.5 hours daily and can lift up to 50 lbs
● Are comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day in all types of weather
● Have proper footwear (there will be lots of free cardio)
● Have the ability are willing to work any day of the week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Are reliable and dependable
● Are able to pass a criminal background check
● Have excellent communication skills
● Have reliable transportation to and from the facility.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday and/or Occasional Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
