As ATB’s next
Entrepreneur Events Specialist you will be championing event experiences for clients and team members. The Entrepreneur Event Specialist is a strategic thinker who possesses traits of a community advocate, entrepreneur educator, and an event planner. You are a self-starter and someone who has a proven track record of creating impactful events and experiences for entrepreneurs or business owners. When supporting our events, you are keeping line of sight to deepening our relationships with clients, supporting team members who are activating the events, and raising ATB’s profile in the creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  • Develop thorough understanding of ATB’s Entrepreneurs clients, key audience behaviors, market/banking/product trends and competitors, content/event engagement habits etc.
  • Support the planning and execution for in-person and/or virtual events within key ATB locations including Entrepreneur Centres, Branch for Arts + Culture and Advisory Centres
  • Manage and coordinate all requirements for event registration, production, programming, speakers, and communications with partners and attendees
  • Coordinate and monitor event timelines
  • Plan and execute sponsorship and/or event and education activations, that achieve business objectives for our Art & Entrepreneurship audiences
  • Support the measurement program and process for reporting on key performance measures for events and participate in regular business reviews on ROI
  • Manage requests and delivery of ATB Entrepreneur (and other) team members for presentations and panels at partnership, community and industry events
  • Update event websites and provide new content as needed
  • Collaborate with many internal partners such as Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Community Initiatives, and advisor/sales teams to successfully execute the event programs
  • Build relationships within the Arts, Culture & Entrepreneur community

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or communications with 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing high profile events - planning, development and execution; with excellent project management and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to think strategically to weave event content, goals and objectives into a vision and thematic development of events
  • Proven ability to manage through high pressure situations, re-prioritize and problem solve when needed, in fast paced and culturally diverse environments
  • Knowledge and experience with current marketing and communication strategies, products, tools and tech
  • Strong passion for the success of artists and small business in Alberta; presence in the creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem community an asset
