Benchmark Builders is looking for Carpenters for upcoming day and night shift work in Oliver, BC.

Requirements:

• Must have availability to work days, weekends, and nights
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Construction, experience in Tenant Improvements and Operational Renovations is preferred
• Experience as a Foreman with a General Contractor, working on projects between $1-10 million
• Demonstrate exemplary leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi task with strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Displays ability to work in a team environment
• Experience promoting a strong safety culture and following HSE policies and procedures, with the ability to conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Meetings, Site Specific Safety Orientations and Safety Reporting
• Able to operate skid steer, forklift and willing to work alongside carpenters as needed
• Own transportation, valid driver's license with satisfactory driver's abstract
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, push/pull, bend and crouch frequently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Projects are desirable assets
